Enter the Matrix

Enter the Matrix je prvá videohra na motívy filmovej série Matrix. Jej príbeh sa odohrával súčasne s príbehom filmu Matrix Reloaded a obsahovala viac ako hodinu pôvodných záberov, ktoré režírovali Wachowskí a v ktorých účinkovali herci z filmovej trilógie a ktoré boli vyrobené exkluzívne pre túto hru. Počas prvých osemnástich dní od vydania sa predal jeden milión kópií, počas prvých šiestich týždňov 2,5 milióna a nakoniec 5 miliónov kópií. Hra Enter the Matrix vyšla prvýkrát v máji 2003, v tom istom mesiaci ako The Matrix Reloaded, a bola vyrobená súčasne s filmami The Matrix Reloaded a The Matrix Revolutions. Vyvinula ju spoločnosť Shiny Entertainment, vydala Atari a distribuovala Warner Bros Interactive Entertainment pre GameCube, Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 2 a Xbox.

Príbeh hry:

The game was written and directed by the Wachowski brothers, and its plot is intertwined with that of the second movie, The Matrix Reloaded. Enter The Matrix casts the player as Niobe or Ghost, captain and first mate of the rebel ship Logos, respectively. Niobe is a master combatant, capable of beating up everyone in her way. She is an excellent pilot, both in the real world and in the Matrix. Ghost is very adept at firearms, and his marksmanship is a mastery. Both characters are very athletic, and throughout the game the player will have to walk, run, jump, strafe, peek, run on walls, climb ladders and pipes, and fight various enemies.
